Master Chef and Macarons!
I’m very much looking forward to tonight’s Master Chef Australia. The contestants will be making towers of French Macarons (macaroons)!
We LOVE macarons at Very Special Celebrations. If you’ve never tasted a macaroon you don’t know what you’re missing! Watch Master Chef tonight and if you like what you see, feel free to contact us to place an order! That’s right, as I’ve mentioned before, we sell these lovely little treats in our store.
When packaged creatively, they make unique bomboniere… or why not try a macaron pyramid? A pyramid or tower of macaroons is a fantastic alternative to a wedding cake or any special occasion cake!

Until next time…

Sweet Tooth?
Lolly Bars, Candy Bars, Lolly Buffets, Dessert Buffets… whatever your preferred name for them, they’re a great addition to any special occasion. Be it a wedding, engagement, christening, baby shower, bridal shower, or birthday party, lolly buffets are a cute alternative to individual favours for your guests (or you can do both!) and you can have a lot of fun creating a visual feast for the eyes!

I recently discovered the work of Amy Atlas and oh my goodness, her dessert tables are amazing! You simply must check out her website and blog. Here’s a little taste of what you’ll find there…
Finally, a big thank you to Wemsical Cupcakes for providing us with these pics of a lolly buffet created for a family member’s kitchen tea! You too can get creative at home just like this, for your next event!
Enjoy!
Lolly Buffets
I’m a little fascinated with lolly buffets at the moment. I’ve come across a few brides recently who are intending to have these at their wedding receptions. Sometimes called a candy buffet, candy table, or dessert buffet, a decorated table of sweets is a cute alternative to traditional bomboniere for your wedding or any special event. Your guests can select their favourite goodies to take home. I’m even considering this idea for my upcoming 30th birthday
If you happen to have tried this concept for yourself and have any gorgeous photos of a lolly buffet, I’d love it if you’d share them with me. I need some inspiration and I’m thinking of doing a blog post with a collection of piccies, if you’re willing to share!
Feel free to email info@veryspecialonline.com.au and I’ll have a go at sharing as many as I can!
Until next time…
